Luke Joliffe, senior winemaker at Stella Bella, may well be the best young winemaker in the Margaret River region.
Having started at Stella Bella in 2007, he served his ‘apprenticeship’ under Janice McDonald and Stuart Pym prior to taking over the reins in 2014.
Stella Bella was already well established by this time, recognised for consistent quality across their range of wines.
However the wines produced at Stella Bella since 2014 are some of the most awarded and have gained the attention of Australia’s most influential wine critic, James Halliday.
Stella Bella now produce wines over four ‘tiers’, each with a different label:
