Family traditional responsible farming methods with
a diet of composts, native grasses & flora as ground
cover, low water input and natural sprays for diseases.

bunch natural vineyard yeast ferment in small open
top fermenters, soft pump overs, basket pressed
into seasoned 500lt French oak barrels and bottled
unfiltered.

Good winter & spring rainfalls, with good soil moistures
for the growing season ahead. Site showed healthy
canopy heading into summer.
January and February were warm & dry leading into
April harvest to produce a beautifully complex &
flavoured shiraz.

Tasting Notes
Perfumed violets, spice and black cherry on the nose.
Blackberry and spice with super fine tannins on a long
elegant palate.
Great example of Barossa hills fruit.

Story
In the far reaches of the Barossa – the furthest to the
South East as can be, when the sun sets, and the full
moon rises, a cold calm descends on the undulating
landscape. A vineyard grows here in the silence of the
night, nurtured by Earth’s critters and the magical moon
and sunshine. This sacred ground, this mystic park,
produces an exotic Shiraz that’s mouth filling, oh so
plush and so perfect on a many starry moonlit night.

"Winemaker Dom Torzi is always a fantastic go-to when looking for value, but he’s excelled himself here. This is shiraz with an Eden Valley tattoo: buoyant perfume, traces of sweet, dried herbs, plenty of juicy fruit, but not at all heavy. It’s well-packaged, well-made and beautifully flavoured. The only issue is that it was made in limited quantity, and restaurants are clambering for it."  - James Halliday
