Wilyabrup Clone 1 fruit, wild fermented, 50% in barrel, 50% stainless steel. This clone was originally planted for sparkling and has higher natural acidity which works well with our ethos of no additions and earlier harvest. Generous fruit driven aromatics with ripe nectarine and Jasmin blossom. Yellow nectarine fruit profile balanced by a ripe citric acid structure, then backed up with some subtle oak influence of almond and butterscotch. Complexity comes in from the barrel ferment portion bringing a textured, integrated and generous white wine that speaks of Margaret River.
