Frankland River fruit, farmed at Powderbark Ridge by Lee Haselgrove, is close fermented in stainless steel, left on ferment lees for 3 weeks before pressing to seasoned French for 8 months elevage. Lifted raspberry and just-ripe mulberry aromatics with a baking spice note.
Medium bodied in the mouth with rich black cherry, white pepper and soft, well rounded fruit tannins from time in oak. Carries through to the finish with some vibrant Great Southern fruit acid and integrated cocoa plushness. Good to chill or great off the shelf.
